Sometimes as a mother it's hard to feel super alive.
Many days I feel more like an object or a means to an end.
there's rarely a moment you have to yourself and it truly is the most selfless job one could ever have.
It's hard.
And for some reason I feel like I want my children to know that.
I don't want them to believe that things are always perfect and life should come easy.
That there is beauty to be found in the struggle, the pain, the hardships.
My mom never had a blog, or instagram, or Facebook.
But my goodness if I looked at her "blog" the way I would view mine from an outside perspective I may have thought her life was one big party.
Which is hysterical really. Because that isn't what this is about.
It's about finding a space or an outlet to be positive. which also happens to be my place where things are seen.
But dear children...If I happen to peace out sooner than later know that there was so much more than what is seen. There's tears, sacrifice, sleepless nights, and endless days.
Sickness, emotional pain, and so much more.
Life is for learning. And growing.
Doing our best. And hopefully lifting others together.
It is about JOY.
But Joy isn't given to you freely.
It's earned.
It's work.
***NOW...for those moments of JOY..***
I love you babies.
