Those first few days + Bringing Jude home...

There is nothing better in the entire world.
Those first few moments and days...
Just staring at this beautiful life that you just created.
I grew him.
This perfect little babe.


With both Ella + Jude I do absolutely nothing. I don't read, I don't watch T.V., I rarely look at my phone. I honestly almost completely detach from everything other than what's happening in that tiny little hospital room with my new baby and I.
I just sit and stare and hold and cuddle and somehow the time flyyssss by!
 I just want to savor every second of that calm and stillness.
The peace.

I actually love the hospital food, the nurses, the big water mug. I love looking up at that white board saying "welcome Jude". Those clear beds they role them around in and the tiny embroidered shirts and soft beanies.

I'm just obsessed.

Bringing him home was so different than ella.
I honestly kind of wanted to stay just because I know the craziness that life was about to bring with a toddler. But it is HOME. And it was definetely more complete with him in it.
Ever since he's been born he just looks up at me like this and stares right at me.
I LOVE him.
