When you were 1 year...

Ella you make me excited to wake up every day.
I lay in bed literally thinking to myself tomorrow can't come fast enough.
Every day is a new day, full of new surprises and new milestones.
I never thought that being a mother could be so much fun.

At 1 year

You talk. Lots and lots. Incredibly social. And fearless.
It's rare that you don'tt go to people...if ever. And sometimes you prefer "friends" to go with you over me. You say hi to everyone. I feel like the world is the friendliest place with you around. We can get whole crowds gathered around us just saying hi over and over again. It's kind of like a continuous weird parade full of waves and "hi's" every day all day.
You love music, and dancing, elmo, yo gabba gabba, baby's or 'babas'
Such a girl already always picking up 'babas' and carrying the around rocking them and kissing them. Love purses and pretty things. When I put a headband on you look in the mirror and go "ohhhhhh"
And when there is music I always turn around to see you bobbing your head and bouncing in perfect rythm.

You are the most curious little peanut there ever was. "What's that" has been the most common phrase since you were born. Probably your first 'word' and gets asked nearly....800 times a day...for real. Lately it's turned into a super clear "what is that" instead of wasssdat?

Super good eater. Hummus, peas, blueberries, bread, cheese, and chobani yogurt are your favorite things. But really you eat anything. Thats just what we give you for the most part.

You walk super well now, I never crawl.
You throw tantrums...already and when you want something you WANT it.
Isn't that supposed to start at two or something?

You love to make us laugh and will do anything to get our attention.

You get so excited every day that your whole body shakes. You throw your arms out and squeel. Just like in this photo below.

You're a dream girl.
