Life has settled down for a milisecond and I want to catch up!

(With a flashback to a year ago with the previous post.

I'm so nostalgic thinking back to last year).

But now...

 some of our recent happenings

Let's start with late April // First of May

We had John, KelliJo, Kash, Jakey, and Charli

 i won the family lottery.

Salt Creek Kite Flying, San Diego, Beach, DISNEYLAND, Pool, all that good stuff. 

 

 

 

 

 

UTAH

After we spent some time with Castleberry's we went to Vegas to photograph a wedding.

While in Vegas Ella started sick.

I had a wedding in Utah the next day. 

From Vegas I went to Utah.

And then Ella got really sick.

long story short.

She had RSV.

And it was heart breaking.

I feel like I honestly felt my heart break when I had to leave her to go photograph a wedding.

In the hospital. Sick. Sad.

We had been up all night in Primary Children's E.R.

She had sucha a 104 degree fever. Was throwing up.

Couldn't breath. Was being poked and prodded. 

Xrays, Catheter, Oxygen. 

It was bad. 

She had three different viruses, one being RSV.

I thought about never doing photography again.

I was sad.

It was sad seeing her sick. But it was really sad when I couldn't be there to help during the day.

I would drive back and forth from Provo / Spanish Fork...Nurse and hold her. 

I hadn't slept for like 4 days straight and literally pulled an all-nighter in the E.R.

I fell asleep at the wheel driving out to spanish fork.

But we made it out okay. 

And I am so grateful for family that was there to help and modern medicine. 

 

 

So we had her on oxygen for 3 days and had lots of dr apts and suctioning (which is the worst thing ever) and medicine. 

They wouldn't let us go home as planned so we ended up staying in UT for awhile.

Birthdays, Mt. Biking, City Creek, and just enjoying family and spring.
