valentines day this year.
we were able to go to a couple different kiddie parties.
ella's friend rooney did a valentine / book exchange as well as box decorating.
ella really loved it. she's kind of into arts and crafts and all things pink and purple so she was in heaven.
then we went over to our cousins, the edgars house and had a cookie decorating party.
Ben and I were able to go on a date together which really meant a lot.
He took me to dinner and then to get ice cream and walk around the pier.
every year we had a tradition where we would go sit on a lifeguard tower and kind of renew our vows if you will...since that's where he proposed to me. But this year a homeless man popped out and kind of ruined the whole vibe we were going for. so pier it was.
It was really sweet to see all the different couples at dinner. Just everyone in pairs.
I know you either love or hate valentines day and I personally dig it.
I think it's the sweetest.
