Ticket to Ride...

This was the sweetest day. We tried to create a 'bucket list' before we left california and this was kind of an unplanned one. We were walking on the pier one evening and ella said mama can we please go on that train. it would make me so happy...i would laugh and laugh. 

So we did!

And it was such a peaceful, calm, day as a family. There was a slight drizzle all day making everything this vibrant, dreamy, green! We rode along the ocean and stopped for at a few sleepy beach towns along the way. Everything was moving slow that day because of the rain and no one was in a hurry. We cuddled together on the train and talked about different memories we shared as a family along the coast. It was a pretty special day together.
