Big Bear, CA

One sunday afternoon after church Ben, Ella, and I drove up to Big Bear.

It was so much better than we had even anticipated and were blown away by the diversity that California really has to offer. two hours later we were in mountains. with big trees and lakes.

Just like home.

It was so pretty and felt good to just be in the quite, still, space.

The older I get the more and more I just love peaceful, calm, moments.

Totally a sign of me getting old. I'm sure. But I'm happy about it.

Getting old isn't a bad thing. It's a scary thing sometimes but it's good. It has its perks for sure.

And one of those perks is appreciating the calm, still, peaceful, moments in life.
