Today at the grocery store Ella saw a dinosaur or a lion or something on a box and started yelling WAAAAARRRyyy or "rawr". It's a common and raspy little thing she somehow manages to do every single day.
Along with lots of other things. Like being independent (pictured above) with eating her food.
Like crying.
Like making more facial expressions in 30 seconds than I think I've made in a lifetime.
Like blowing me kisses every time she wants to get into something as in her mind it translates as 'bye bye' mama.
Like learning to jump.
Like obsessing over blowing bubbles.
Like obsessing over waaeeee "water" and shishhhhess "fishes"
Like playing 'nigh nigh' and fake sleeping
Like YELLING every new word she learns
Like wanting to go oussside
Like drawing
Like having conversations with everyone she might see for the day
Like saying "please" and now knowing, that I will most likely give in if there is a peeeeasse at the end 100% of the time.
Ella is FULL of life. Bursting at the seams. I know I may have mentioned this a time or two before but she just is.
She is fearless, and confident, a dreamer and a fighter.
Emotions ON at all time. These things are already so apparent at 18 months old.
She keeps me laughing, she keeps me crying.
She keeps me alive.
Some days I wake up wondering what on earth is this all about?
This tired, toddler chasing life.
And then the very next day I'll wake up thinking...this is what it IS all about.
Toddlers are a whirlwind of unpredictability.
And I'm grateful that she's taking me along for the ride.
