Looking through these photos I can't help but think how Ella is mastering the skill of travel.
This summer we have been on a lot of airplanes together, hiked through jungles, slept on boats...
She's my little travel bug.
and she's getting pretty good at it too.
Or maybe I'm just getting better.
Either way, it has certainly made certain things harder.
And it's certainly made certain things better too. (wink)
Like watching her little body go entirely still at the top of the old mayan pyramid, for like a good twenty minutes... (suuuper rare).
And in the end. I guess I'm looking at these photos in the middle of the mexican jungle and telling myself we did it. We conquered that summer of travel together. And sometimes we were lucky enough to have papa come along (praise!), but a lot of it was her and I conquering those sticky, hot airplane rides alone. But we did it.
