Taking it Back...

Like...way back.

To December.

1/2 a year ago.

Until now. 

I think I'll feel a lot better if I just update the blog a bit. I really like to journal and I really love the idea of pictures being able to capture our lives (obviously look at what I do). SO...for my sake I am going to do a mini highlight reel of what we were up to while this baby was baking. As I was looking through my photos I realized a few things A) our lives have already changed...A LOT... B) I don't take photos of my personal life anymore C) If I do they are horrible and usually off of my phone or instagram. D) life FLIES by. 

December

We got to go see Wicked

My all time favorite. I was so excited for Ben to be able to see it as well.

Kind of crazy how even looking at these photos up until March make me feel kind of sick again.

Whoo, glad that ended :)

Had a fire...TV style

But seriously. This is why I love ben. Always keepin it real. 

We got to fly home and see our fam and meet babies, lots and lots of new babies.

Such a fun time of life.

It was so fun. We got to go to some really fun restaurants and go see the Michael Jackson Cirque!

Those cirque shows are my absolute favorite.

Again, ben killing it for V day.

I love surprises. 

Came home to a house seconds away from burning to the ground but TOTALLY worth the amazing candles everywhere! With little gifts all along the path. Then a dinner on the beach.

We really just sat there and tried to be still this night. Held hands. and nothing more. Just what I wanted.

Was seriously one of the BEST months of my life.

I finished nannying first of may and decided to take 3 months off of photography.

!

1 1/2 before the babe came, and a 1 1/2 after.

Good decision.

The baby showers.
Honestly, this is the part where you feel totally over the top loved.
I remember feeling so overwhelmed by everyones generosity and kindness when I got married.
The baby thing is the exact same.
I am so grateful for all the support we've recieved and for the true friendships we have developed over the years, and for the amazing family we are able to be a part of!
Sometimes it's hard to recieve so much attention, you feel kind of guilty but I just want everyone to know how much we truly appreciate it. And how much we really love you all. Nothing would matter without these people below...and a lot of other people that came that I don't have photos of. I should have assigned someone to take photos of everyone!
Each one was SO elaborate and over the top perfect. I tried to take pictures of every detail when I could but it would have been impossible! So AMAZING.

Couples Shower
And my sweet, sweet friend who I don't know what I would do without Elise had a couples shower for me in CA. I honestly don't know how on earth everyone I seem to know is freaky over the top talented but she is definetely one of them. She did everything. the food, the banners, the invites...she is an amazing friend.
