Feeling good
Getting out
Nearly back to my old self 20 something weeks later!
Whoooo.
So all is well in CA.
Last weekend we spent some time in old town San Juan which is one of our favorite weekend hang outs.
It's 5 minutes away from us and has such a fun spanish vibe going on.
We walked around all of the old little shops and ate some delicious food at the Hummingbird Cafe
Then we walked around the craft/ art fair, went into all the little boutiques, and listened to the musicians play. Don't you wish there was always musicians playing on the streets?! I am such a sucker for dropping my pennies into those open guitar cases. I just love it.
Then we headed up to Los Angeles to meet up with Kash (yay yay yay!) for Bens cute cousins baptism.
The baptisms was at this AMAZING church in downtown LA.
It was one of the prettiest churches I've ever been to. So old and so much character. Stained glass, the whole she-bang.
We ate a little persian food from a favorite local spot Javan
Hit up Diddy Riese for some midnight ice cream sandwiches {it's so yummy...you have to stand in line forEVER but it's one of those things...worth it}.
We headed over to Abbot Kinney in Venice, CA.
If you are ever near the area you should go. So many cute shops, restaurants, book stores...loved it.
Topped off by sunday brunch by uncle paul and a little one on one time with Dr. 90210 at church?!!
awesome.

ReplyDeletelove your belly!
ReplyDeleteabbot kinney is the street i think we told you about that if you go the 1st friday of every month, they have food trucks (like 30) to choose from and it's sorta a gallery stroll where each store is open very late with little candies and appetizers sitting out while you browse. We should do it maybe april or may! also, that's probably my favorite stationary store right there on abbot, i think it's the same one. :)
