Love...

I'm feeling like it's a good excuse to get all lovey dovey mushy gushy over here considering it's almost v day. I honestly feel like my heart is exploding it's so full right now. And I'm all teary eyed and I want to blame it on being pregnant but I really think it's safe to say that I'm really just super grateful and happy. Sometimes you just have to take a minute to sit back and realize how amazing life is.

right before we first got to see our little tiny baby for the first time. After they told us we were indeed having a baby we celebrated with bagels and chocolate milk (and maybe hugging eachother and doing a little jump (or a few jumps) in the grocery store.

So far it's been pretty awesome. 

{other than this...which explains my blogging hiatis for the past 3 months...but I have a pretty good feeling that all this morning all day sickness will be totally worth it :) }

This was crazy exciting and so funny.

I always had planned to do something all cute for Ben when the time came around to tell him we were having a baby. He was out with some friends surfing or swimming or something like that and I was making them chili. I took a test and got all excited so I grabbed some rolls for the chili and threw them on the bed thinking 'bun in the oven'. He came home and I told him to come upstairs to look at something real quick. 

And then this...

A little confused...

So I showed him the pregancy tests

And was so cute and even got a little teary eyed.

I loved it

BABY!!!

And then...

We were able to find out if it was a boy or girl on my birthday!

So fun!!

So we thought it was appropriate to do the blue or pink cake thing. 

That precious little piece of paper with the results and the awesome ultrasound pics!

That was AMAZING. You know how you always imagine the way things will be when you're little and certain things just turn out better than you even expected? It was so cool to see her moving her little mouth around like she was saying hi :)

We are so thrilled. So far this baby girl is making us two very happy people.
