and the love runs deep...
five summers ago {yikes!}, Ben and I fell in love.
I can vividly remember almost every summer night of 2006.
It was perfect. It really was.
But one night in particular I really remember.
The night ben told me he "loved youuuuuuuu...tah"
It was adorable, and hilarious, and looking back, totally true!
I told him I loved Utah too....both knowing what we really meant.
Such a classic moment right?
{Give us a break we were 19 and 21 and as far as I'm concerned I was determined that I was only going to tell the person I was going to marry that I loved them...It was a big deal :)}
But seriously, Utah rocks.
CA is pretty awesome, but there is something so refreshing, so simple, and settling about home...
I really just love the place.
Last week I had some photo shoots/weddings that I flew back for and was able to spend some time all over the valley. Alpine, UT is my favorite I've decided. And so was the wedding I shot there. Perfect, perfect, perfect. I also got to spend some time with my cousins, my nieces/nephews, brothers, sisters {forget the in-law part}, uncles, aunts, grandparents, etc, etc, etc.
It was so good, so, so, so good.
The simple life.
It's my favorite.

That is such a cute story about you and ben:) And a good reminder to not take home for granted. Sometimes I can't wait to get out of Utah and live somewhere new, but when it comes down to it, there is something so special about home. and Utah. I can never let myself forget that:)
